This is just a reminder that Our 2013 Darling/Walker Family Reunion is just around the corner—-July 19-21, 2013. The Detroit planning committee has prepared a very exciting and fun-filled weekend an appreciates your willingness to participate.
Friday Night – Welcome, Meet and Greet, T-shirts, hats, goodie bags and itineraries distributed, displaying of family trees and photos, light refreshments.
Saturday – Guided tours of Motown Museum and Charles H. Wright Museum, Diamond Jack Boat Ride, Picnic at Belle Isle, late night Hot Spots.
Sunday – Family Prayer, discussion, and passing of the torch to the next hosting state, then Departure.
Deposits have been secured, T-shirts and hats ordered, caterers are prepping. If you plan to participate in ALL or just a few of the activities planned for our family reunion, IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU SUBMIT YOUR FUNDS ASAP. NO FUNDS WILL BE COLLECTED AFTER JULY 12TH. Funds will NOT be collected at Belle Isle for the picnic. The food will be prepared according to the number of paid families……NO MORE!
